Colorado Fall

A couple weeks ago we wanted to get up to the mountains so we took a spontaneous trip to Breckenridge. It's a great little drive and we had so much fun on our first exploration into the Rockies. We had no idea it was Oktoberfest in Breckenridge that weekend! We still loved our little trip. We walked Main Street, played at the riverfront, took a gondola up to the summit of Breckenridge and played around at their fun park up there. Here's a fewpics of our day:

We liked Breckenridge so much we decided to take an overnight trip back up last week to get another glimpse of the beautiful aspen trees in all their colors. We love that little town and had a wonderful time strolling main street, eating at yummy resturants, exploring, playing, and throwing rocks into the river. We are excited to keep exploring the Rocky Mountains as we try to take advantage of our time here!
